Minister: Government not to relaunch cheap car loans plan in 2021

VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 2 (PRIME) -- The program of cut-rate car loans will not be relaunched at least in 2021, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters at the Eastern Economic Forum on Thursday.

"I can confirm that the program of cut-rate car lending will not be prolonged until the end of the year. Next year we shall see what the market situation will be," Manturov said.

The authorities plan to allocate about 10 billion rubles in cut-rate car loans and cheap leasing support in 2022, the official said. A decision on when to start the support measures will be made by December, he said.
